After
her varied performance of comedy in Pammal
K Sambantham and Kannathil Muthamittal the
Tere Mere Sapne girl Simran is having a lot
more come true than just her dreams, everything
coming her way, all and more she could ask
for. Now with Kamal's Panchathanthiram also
under her belt she is now the courageous woman
fighting for her rights in Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi
produced under the banner Film Magic. Based
on a true story - it is about a woman taking
the law & the necessary weapon in her
hand to fight for her rights and others too.
Everybody was discouraging at the director
of 'Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi' for casting Simran
as the main character.
Most of the people
were confident that the film would stop half
way through, some pursued with the director
to give up as it would impossible to finish
the film with Simran who has been unstable
of recent and would eventually drop out of
the film. But the director who succeeded in
finishing the film to near completion is not
only happy that he was able to shut the mouth
of gossip mongers but is also all praises
for the actresses. He adds that this film
is sure to bring a National Award for the
actress. Though there have been rumours flying
high in the industry that the Simran would
be quitting acting in films, she is on a spree
to sign more films replacing other actresses
as well in her way higher up the success ladder. |
