It
is quite easy for the man who played 'Honest
Raaj' to play the honest college professor.
Vijaykanth plays the role of an innocent college
professor Ramana who in reality spearheads
a secret Anti Corruption Force with a few
selected students to wipe corrupt officials
out off the society. Yuhi Sethu who played
the dumb professor in 'Panchathanthiram' now
plays the role of the intelligent sleuth who
cracks the series of mysterious murders which
he believes have a strong connection with
Ramana. Simran appears in very few scenes
in the flashback narration of Vijaykanth as
his wife but still what is required out of
her. The family gets killed when the house
collapses due to the illegal sanction of buildings
to be built in unstable marshy lands. Vijaykanth
as the professor presents a power packed dialogue
delivery in the required scenes. What makes
the film more acceptable and interesting is
the fact that is totally hero-oriented subject
with no song sequences for our patriotic hero.
Ashima the new girl does a convincing job.
